Welcome to Providence Bible Church!

We are a Southern Baptist Congregation that seeks to be committed to the centrality of God in all things holding to the Doctrines of Grace and the Five Solas of the Reformation. 

The Doctrines of Grace are the historical truths held by the church since its conception and taught in the Scriptures.  They recognize God is sovereign over all events in time.  Because God is sovereign, man is in need of God’s grace for everything including salvation.  

The Five Solas of the Reformation declares that the Scriptures alone are our authority in faith and practice (this places God’s word at the center of our preaching, teaching, biblical counseling and singing); Salvation from the wrath of God is in Christ alone through Faith alone on account of Grace alone; and all that is done is to be done for the Glory of God alone.

At Providence Bible Church we want to be in submission to God and His word in all areas of our life.  We rest in the fact that God does all things for His glory and the good of His people.  The outworking of His decreed will is called providence. 

Our Pastor-Teacher is Tom Scaife.  Tom earned his Master of Divinity from The Master’s Seminary.  He is currently working on his Doctor of Ministry from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Our song leader is Ryan Zwemke.  Ryan has a great love for the Lord and is a gifted musician.  He is the band and chorus director at Riverview Middle School in Dawsonville.
